What this site is about...

Welcome to FER! Created in September 2008, this site is to discuss the FUTURE of the front end of recruiting and will be ever-evolving. Front End is defined as the starting point - the strategy planning process that drives the rest of the recruiting cycle. Its mission is to act as a one-stop-shop to keep you on top of the latest and FUTURE tools, techniques and trends in recruiting. Most posts are gleaned from those who are the gurus in each of these categories with commentary from Dorothy Beach, Recruiting Researcher and PHR CIR (http://linkedin.com/in/dorothybeach). In light of the bleak job market, and because networking can always be done better, Barry Geiman’s STEPS on networking for the next job are also posted under "blogs" along with almost daily updates from members. Just search the BLOGS tab using "Geiman" to bring them all up.
